Slow Flowing Creek – Jasper

I’ve wanted to practice using long exposures to capture flowing water for a while now. I bought an ND8 filter last year, and finally put it to the test in Jasper on May long weekend. I wish there had been a little more green vegetation, but Spring arrives later in Jasper than it does in the city! Here is one of my first attempts using the filter.

  1. That’s interesting. I’m not a photographer, just a fan, so I’m not always familiar with the mechanics of photography. I had to look up the filter you were talking about, so now I understand why it would be important for a long-exposure shot. Thanks for telling me what you’re using, so I can learn a bit. And, of course, it’s a beautiful picture. :-)
