Elk Island Self-Portrait
It’s time for a profile picture change. I couldn’t find a “typical” profile picture that I liked, so I’m posting this self-portrait from the spring. I was trying out a lighting idea that has been stuck in my head since last year. I can see the picture in my head but I’m not quite sure how to capture it.
Focusing the camera while it’s pointing into the sun and at the same time remotely triggering the shutter button, isn’t the easiest thing to do. I did manage to capture a few keepers though. 
The overall result wasn’t exactly what I saw in my head but it’s a step in the right direction.
Looking forward to seeing the progression towards your vision!
