Empress Hotel – Victoria
We’re back!
We had a fantastic week on Vancouver Island, and are getting back into the regular swing of life. Charlie is still catching up on sleep… so I thought I’d better post something. 
This is a very touristy type of shot, but The Empress Hotel is such a beautiful building and I just had to share this picture :)
On our first night in Victoria we had dinner on the patio of a restaurant in Victoria’s Inner Harbour. It is such a vibrant part of the city, and a great introduction to Vancouver Island.
Ooh, I’ve stayed there! When I was a child living in Oregon, my family made a couple vacation trips to Vancouver, and one time my parents decided to really splurge and stay at the Empress. We felt like royalty! Beautiful picture, and thanks for the memory. I’m glad you had a nice trip.

We splurged by having Charlie’s Birthday dinner in the Empress dining room (very yummy!). Victoria is such beautiful city
