HDR – I Have No Idea What I am Doing

I’ve been playing around with some photos this morning.

I need to read a book on HDR.  I prefer mixing ambient light with fill flash.  But that can be very time consuming or impossible when trying to use it on a large scale image like a landscape.  I’ve seen some great HDR pictures on other blogs and I figure that I should learn one more trick.

One issue, that is really bugging me, is the weird artifacts that show up from the movement of the leaves.  They are like ghost outlines.  I would’ve  prefer a bit of  blur.

My subject could’ve been better and it could have had less movement.  But I picked this for practice and  the fact that I dig this tree.  🙂

Any suggested readings or advice would be much appreciated.
