This rainy and cold Edmonton summer is almost over. I realized this fact when I was driving into the city, from my holiday’s, last Sunday. You notice the changes more when you have not been around. The Canola fields are less yellow and more green. Lots of the hay is harvested. The sun goes down too soon. So on top of a hardcore case of “the back from vacation blues” I had to come to terms with the end of summer lying just around the corner.
So to get out of this funk I finally went and took some pictures. The sky did not play fair tonight. To capture the most interesting clouds you had to point the camera into the sun. And at the end of the night the clouds hid the sun completely. But I am looking forward to the fall. Its a chance to get more color into my landscape shots.
